Nov 2015

In November Quinn got her first skateboard. She's working on her balance (and confidence) and enjoys skating with her neighborhood friends.

We also celebrated Thanksgiving with friends. We attended a big dinner and Quinn played all day long, to her delight. She helped make pie and is becoming a proficient chef.

October 2015

Halloween
Quinn dressed up as a pirate this year. She was particular of being a captain and pulled off her role quite well. She even insisted on using her hook to carry her candy bag.  Another successful Halloween.

August 2015

No milestones or significant events this month. Just summer in motion for Quinn. This means a bunch of days spent at the neighborhood pool, the beach, Legoland and playing with her friends and brother. She's enjoying every bit.

July 2015

June was pretty routine, without much to report for Quinn.

However, July included a few big events that were very exciting.
First, we started the month out with a big 4th of July luau. Our neighborhood association puts on a large event each year which includes jumpy houses, a petting zoo, circus acts, face painting, a water balloon fight with 1500+ balloons and the roasting of a 400lb pig. Quinn was thrilled with all the fun and fell asleep at the end of the day in about 3 mins flat!

Later in the month Quinn and I took a special trip to San Francisco together, just her and I. Airplane, rental car, hotel, room service, the whole experience. She is a very adventurous little girl and loved every minute. She's a travel pro.

April 2015

During the latter part of March/early April we moved to a new house. Quinn is delighted to now have a neighborhood full of kids to play with. She thinks we've moved to the best place. The kids are out every day after school and she is giddy every time one of them rings our doorbell to ask if she can play.
During April her grandparents also came out to visit her and her brother. They had fun taking multiple trips to Legoland and the Aquarium.

March 2015

Moving time for us. We moved this month to San Diego county. Quinn is settling awesomely into her new home, neighborhood and school. She has lots of neighborhood friends already and loves when her friends ring the doorbell and ask if she can come out and play.
Best of all, she has a Legolabd membership also! She loves that!

February 2015

Quinn has an imaginary friend named Princie. Not a creepy imaginary friend but one she acknowledges is pretend (phew). Princie flies helicopters, likes unicorns, is known to be a zookeeper and has seen butterfly breasts. He is also not too tall and sometimes has blue hair.
Sometimes Quinn enjoys winding down with dress up.

December 2014 Christmas

Quinn spent her Christmas, New Years break in Chicago. Aside from regular visits with family and friends she also got to experience a few new things.
She went ice skating for the first time (not too thrilled!). She did a great job but thought it was too hard to not fall.
She also visited Chicago's Legoland, went bowling and stayed up late in New Year's Eve and got to participate in a special Frozen themed gymnastics open house.

January 2015

No major milestones to report for January. Quinn continues to be well and thrive. We returned from Chicago early January. Before we left Quinn had a chance to play in the snow, which is always a treat.
