The most growth for Quinn this last month has been with speech. She picks up words left and right. Mimicking what other people are saying in regular conversation as well as when you tell her the names for things. She's quick to repeat the word back to you to the best of her ability. The pediatrician at her last appt said she should know at least 20 words. Well, she has surpassed that number long ago!
To date, she already knows:
Mama, nana, papa, baba, na, cup, spoon, ice cream, cheese, pizza, grape, apple, dip, hungry, more, all done, Hi, hello, hey, bye, yeah, NO!, Mine!, please, thank you, up, help, buddy, baby, dog, Izzy, outside, alright, down, floor, ni-ni, bath, teeth, clean, rock, bee, bug, hot, avocado, dance, i got a dream, store, pool, boy, most of the alphabet and numbers, ready, set, go, monkey, pig, cat, kitty, cow, bird, owl, on, off, ope, closed, home, tangled, airplane, play, circle, sticker, here, buckle, bear, frog, duck, hair, nose, eye, head, toes, fingers, hands, chin, ear, knee, shoes, diaper, bow, brush, ankle, belly, happy day, love you and many many more. She also knows how to say many people's names and how to use her words in 2-4 word phrases.
This last month she also got two molars. Bottom left and the top right. The two others are in process of coming in as well.
She went to the zoo for the first time and loved the polar bears swimming in their pools.
Her favorite foods this month have been plums, avocado, turkey or ham with cream cheese on top, steamed carrots, spaghetti and ice cream. She has learned how to feed herself very well out of a bowl with a spoon or fork.
She can't get enough stickering and playing with shapes this month. Lots of building and stacking, coloring and stickering.
